Tea: a great no-calorie alternative to water

I have to say that I do not really enjoy drinking water. I found a great no-calorie alternative to water: TEA!

Hot or cold, green, black or white, a cup of tea also contains special many health benefits.

"Tea has many benefits and is well known for both its anticancer and antioxidant properties. Other positive effects include:

1. Tea has the amino acid called theanine, a natural relaxant that won't make you drowsy

2. Tea has the ability to increase metabolism, resulting in the burning a body fat

3. Tea has the ability to suppress the absorption of fat

4. Tea has high levels of antioxidants that act as anti-inflamatories and are protective for the skin and brain and all your organs

5. Tea has the ability to improve glucose tolerance in diabetic mice, an effect that may help prevent type 2 diabetes

6. High levels of an important polyphenol antioxidant, epigallocatechin gallate which is believed to be responsible for much of green tea's promise in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, obesity, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, periodontal disease and dental cavities

7. Topical application of low dose green tea extract may help protect against UV damage without the common side effects" Forever Young by Nicholas Perricone M.D.

8. It may help with weight loss

9. It may help protect your bones

10. It may reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke

Make a jar of tea available in your kitchen as you do with a jar of water, and you and your family will get all this benefits every time you want to satisfy your thirst. Ah! do not forget to add spices like cinammon, ginger or limon.

Recomendation: Do not drink TEA after 5pm. Tea has teina, a component that alter your nerves, then your sleep
