Parenting, the most important goal

When I came to this country, I was able to climb the highest mountain. Hungry for success, my goals were those ones like to have the best mansion in town, be a successful entrepreneur or professional.

In that journey, and for reasons that are not related with this topic, I became a mother for the second and third time, one year apart. Suddenly I got the impression that my life stalled. Nights with baby crying, and a lot of stress due to often tantrums of both children during the day, my lipstick in my purse was suddenly replaced by a toy, tupperware box filled with sliced fruit, and an extra diaper. When I had time to think, I used to ask my self:

Personally and professionally how can I reach those goals?

As it turns out, I can and I will actually because becoming a mother provided me with all the strengths and great things that are happening in my life, more that I could ever have expected.

1. I see life from a different perspective. No one is better than children to teach you the simplicity of life

2. I take care my self better than before, because I want to be for them as long and healthy as I can

3. My children refueled my ambition in a different way. I still want to reach many goals, but knowing what is more important in life. I am not in a rush, I just enjoy every single moment in my life

4. Because of them, I am more creative than before, and because of them I can take more risks in a smarter way. Nothing motivates me more than my children

5. I laugh more every time I am with my children. It is always fun, and the most entertainment time when being with them. The child inside me comes out easier.

6. I feel safer when I see my future, knowing that those wonderful kids will be there always for me

7. The most trustworthy people in my life are my children. My daughter is the best business partner I could ever have

8. I am completely me when being with them, because of them

9. The best way to help the community is by raising children with good values. If you love your community, city and country, the best way to give back is to provide good children

10. Kissing and hugging them is the best feeling I can ever have. To listen "I love you mommy" just makes me the happiest person in the world

Your personal goals are important, but making parenting your main goal is the best way to give and receive.
